Hello ALL...................

Hello My Followers, wow! have I missed all you, I am so busy working, and trying to get the yard work done as well as trying to finish sanding my kitchen cabinets, well good news, I believe I am done, now I talked to Aunt Sharon and she wants me to paint them ALL red to start then we are going to try a couple colors for the top coat, then age them to see which looks better, we are going to seat down and look at it to come up with the winning color, lol!! I told her what ever one she likes best is good with me! heehee So once I get the first coat on I will post pictures, now I am off to see what everyone has been up too. Have a fantastic long weekend and talk to you all very soon!

MY KITCHEN

Hello my bloggers!!! Miss me? lol I miss all of you and I have been so very busy trying to get these cupboards sanded. Lots of work but I look forward to painting them, still not sure on the color but I will be painting them all RED first for the under coat. Then once that is done then the real fun begins. Take a look at my progress.....

Day Trip With Aunt Sharon to Finley OHIO.........

Today was the day trip, my mom and I headed over to my Uncle Doug and Aunt Sharon's at 7:30am this morning and headed out to Finley Ohio to do some antique shopping and what a day we had!! When we got into Finley around 9ish, we had to stop and eat first because the stores didn't open until 10:00, so what better place to go for breakfast then Bob Evans.

 Here is the first store we went to, my Aunt Sharon and Uncle Doug shop there all the time, her name is Barb and she owns this perfect little prim store.

 Here are a few pictures outside her shop.

 I didn't take any of the inside because I wasn't sure how she would feel about that! Maybe next time.

 Then we headed to this shop, where its really big, two sisters own it and there is like 8 different little stores all next to one another!

 Here are just a few things that I purchased along the way, that small wooden box to put prim soaps in, that's what I'm thinking anyways, 2 blk hooks for decorating I am doing downstairs in front of my fireplace and these 2 pairs of socks that I still need to dye.

 Also this throw cover that I have on my chair in my keeping room, not sure if it will stay there but I think it works for now until I can get my furniture recovered.

And this bonnet I picked up for $13.00, sweet!!! Well I had a great day shopping and having fun with my Aunt, Uncle and Mom. I hope we can do it again but maybe a over night trip!!! Have a wonderful night and Happy MOTHER'S Day to all you mom's out there!

There Is NO Turning Back............

Well good morning all, just had to let everyone know that yes I'm still here and I'm very busy lately, I have started sanding my kitchen cabinets and I have a smile on my face the whole time, lol! Here is a peek of what I have gotten done.

I have finished the lower half and now I have to get ready for work, will continue on tomorrow, hope everyone is doing well and I will make another post soon! Miss you all.

I got the GREEN LIGHT.............

Take a good look!!!! because my hubby has given in, woohoo for me!!! I have been asking and waiting for him to let me paint and finally after 4 years he has given up the fight! The winner "ME"!!!!! So before I do any painting my Aunt Sharon is going to come over and help pick a colour, there is a pantry to the left of the fridge that I think we are going to do black and the rest, well not sure! I want them to look like my Aunt Sharon's/Dorothy's so it will take lots of time!!

 Hubby is also making me shelters for this window, yah! Not sure what is going to happen to hubby's wine rack yet, lol

 There is the pantry by the fridge, so we are thinking black and the 2 cabinets above the fridge!

Not sure yet if I'm going to leave that corner cabinet black but I guess I will figure it out as I go, wish me luck because this is going to be a VERY LONG process but I know it will be worth it in the end. Any suggestions?? I would love to hear what you think.

My Package from Dana

 Okay so went to the store today to get my package that has been there for two days!!!

 The giveaway I won from Dana (Homespun Treasures), here is some of what was inside, the card, the lamb and basket I won!! If you could smell the lamb you would go crazy, unbelievable! Cinnamon, cinnamon and more cinnamon.

 There it is on my table in my keeping room.

 Sorry about this picture, I will have to take a new picture because I had to leave and I wanted to get it on before I left. She also made me a rabbit that smells so delicious and that tiny sifter.

And these candle melter's, that are black cherry! One of my favourites, thank you Dana so much for this fantastic prim gift, I love them all and happy easter to all my followers!!!

My Package!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!! My package came from Dana from Home Spun Treasures today and I wasn't home so when I went to pick it up they were closed and on the door it said they are closed tomorrow, do you believe that I have to wait until Saturday to go get it!!!!!! COME ON, REALLY!!!! Well not much I can do about it now but I will be there as soon as the door opens. Hope everyone is doing well and I will be posting my package on Saturday as soon as I get home! Have a wonderful night and a Good Friday!!

New PICTURES of Aunt Sharon's HOME

So back to Aunt Sharon's I go.... I am trying to get Aunt Sharon and Dorothy's prim homes in a few magazines and so I went back there this morning to take some wide view pictures and plus she moved things around AGAIN!!! oh yes lets not forget she has purchased a few things too! I think these pictures turned out really good and I tried to get a full view of the whole room. Sit down with your coffee or tea and take another look around.
