Some items from Dorothy!!!

Shutters Are Started

 So if you remember my trim in the kitchen matched the old wooden cabinets and I was just going to paint them until I came home and Hubby put all new trim so he can start my shutters!!! YAHHH, so here is what it looks like now.....

 So the new trim is up and I started painting them to match the cabinets.

 He also put trim in the laundry room, and soon to be shutters there....

 And in the bathroom, here I only primed it, still need to paint, and then shutters.

 Back to the kitchen.....

In this picture you can see more of the true colour, I cant wait for the shutters to be done and show you all. I will keep you posted.

Kitchen is Finally Almost Done

 Okay here we go, if you remember the first coat was RED, now this color is Monroe Bisk, I applied 2 coats of RED then 2 coats of the Bisk.

 As you can see in this picture there are a few cupboards red so you could see the colour.

 I actually kept it clean, lol

 So here is were I put alittle candle wax, so the red came threw!

 Now here is this part done, I have my old handles back on but I am getting round wooden ones and painting them to match but until then I need something there, also I have to wait at least 2 weeks before I age them, yes yes another step!!

 I am also going to paint that corner cabinet RED inside, so it stands out.

 Well what do you guys think so far?? I love it, remember before it was all wood and kinda dark now I feel that it fits in with my old look that I am going for.

 If you remember there use to be a wine rack here and my hubby asked me last night what I was doing, I said but honey this looks so much better!! lol Sorry dear, find somewhere else to put your wine!

Well Hello Everyone! Like I said I was going to post some pictures of all the wonderful primitive items Lori and I made to sell at our 2nd Open House and my goodness we had a fantastic turn out, put it this way we have to re stock on everything!! Yah! So take a look and see all the perfectly prim pieces.
